    This course provides the opportunity to explore a communications strategy that delivers against an organisation’s commercial or marketing objectives through PR and specifically, media relations.
    It will define the key messages of an organisation to be communicated through carefully selected media to reach target audiences. Through an interactive workshop, participants will quickly build up a toolkit that will enable them to work confidently and effectively with the media by achieving positive coverage and developing valuable relationships with journalists.
    This course is suitable for those who want to develop their skills around public relations and improve their confidence in dealing with the media. It will help you understand how to position yourself using the media and the greater impact you could be having.  Learn how to: 

    • Develop objectives that are achievable through media coverage
    • Define key messages for your organisation

    You will develop industry skills, get tips of the trade and understand what you will need to do to get where you want to be.

    Whether you want to make short or long, low or high budget, the course covers critical and core skills delivered by professional film makers. The course is ideal for beginners or intermediates and offers a hands-on environment to learn, experiment and test out skills.

Photoshop – Beginners / Wednesday 9th March 2016 / 9pam – 5pm / £80

    Whether you are using Photoshop for print, the web or just for fun we will teach you the fundamentals with easy-to-follow, practical examples.

    Starting with the basics, we will teach you how to set up your work environment, open files and perform the basic editing functions that Photoshop has to offer, including working with layers, using filters and changing size or resolution.

    You will leave with a package of tools and knowledge including tutorials and links to resources.

  • This hands-on training session is aimed at those with a rudimentary understanding of Wordpress and focuses on developing those existing concepts and knowledge to increase your WordPress capabilities - find out more

    This course is a step-up from our ‘WordPress – Beginners’ course (previous page) and offers another hands-on experience in a friendly environment where you can explore and develop new skills.
    We move up a gear and show you how to develop your website content and visual identity, making them more attractive, dynamic and engaging. We demonstrate how blogging works and how to create and promote articles as well as how to monitor them and implement strategies to increase engagement. There is also a focus on integration with other social and digital media platforms to maximise your PR power.
    This course is all about learning how to get the best out of WordPress and how to make the most of its great tools. If you’re booking onto our ‘WordPress – Beginners’ course, you may want to book onto this one further down the line to keep the momentum going and build your confidence and online presence.

We cannot secure your place on the training course until a payment is made.

Invoices are payable within 7 days upon receipt of the invoice.

If you need to cancel your course more than 14 days before your course commences you will receive a refund minus a 20% administration charge

Only under special circumstances we agree to:
a) Permit that payment is split into two instalments, deposit and balance payment.
b) Refund you if you cannot attend. Of course it is possible to keep your payment as credit and take part in an alternative training course or date or send another person.

If we have to cancel the course for any reason, you will be fully reimbursed.
